Your Lips

As our lips are together,
Eyes close and see dark but the heart sees.
Skin is on skin, goosebumps fill and give chills.
Feeling your soft lips tastes bittersweet yet universally pleasing.
Grasping your body weakens my knees and fingertips.
Breathing your presence sweetens the air.
I'm drawn to you and somehow it feels familiar.
I'm tempted by your lips and the warmth that wraps my lips.
Pressing against your mouth, the intellect is at a stop.
Your lips couldn't be
more heavenly or
more perfectly plump
and as our lips release
your lips whisper
"I was made for your lips."
